1960 Porsche 356B T6

Presenting a wonderful early example of a drivers grade 1960 356B T5 Sunroof Coupe. Well maintained, this Ruetter bodied Sunroof Coupe is well tuned and ready for the road. Engine starts quickly and without fuss or puff of oil smoke. The gearbox shifts cleanly with all synchros in working order, and the clutch engages smoothly and properly with no sign of excess wear. The OEM brakes are in order with a firm pedal and consistent stopping power. The suspension is taut without rattle or sway. Floor pans look to be original without rust or signs of repair, and the undercarriage, engine bay, and frunk show properly. 

Car number 112503's original Ivory paint was swapped for Silver some time ago, and is mostly free of imperfection with the exception of checking on the front hood edge. Interior is a mixture of original and updated with the carpet having been freshened and the front seats updated to black vinyl with houndstooth inserts. The door cards, rear seats, and rear tray look to be original as is the chrome instrumentation, Blaupunkt AM/FM stereo, headliner, and switchgear (although the steering wheel has been leather wrapped). 

Power comes from a non-original 1600cc Porsche powerplant rated at 60bhp with 1961 datestamp. All in all, this is a very well sorted and loved 356 Sunroof Coupe with enough originality to garner attention, but enough patina and updating to be a genuinely spectacular and worry free touring car.
