This car was the earlier chassis to the 1989 Japanese Grand Prix winning car with Alessandro Nannini at the wheel. That race was profiled in the documentary 'Senna'. Nannini was the default winner after Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost collided.

 

This car has been driven to points paying finishes by Nannini; 6th in Brazil and 3rd in San Marino and the British GP with it's bst finish a 2nd at Australia.  It was also driven by Johnny Herbert achieving 4th in Brazil and 5th at US Grand Prix in Phoenix.

 

This Benetton B189 was completely rebuilt from tub up to final successful testing at Silverstone by the finest of fabricators Liaz Jakhara of the renowned ZUL RACING COMPANY in Derby, England and has been driven only on test days at Sears Point/Infineon Raceway since delivery.

One of 1300 hardtops built in '97, this D90 has had two very fastidious owners, performing all servicing on time that required by Rover. For 1997 the only major changes were the gearbox, colors, and engine. The elimination of the 5 speed manual gearbox left all Defenders with 4 speed ZF built automatic gearboxes. The alloy V8 was upgraded from 3.9 to 4.0 liters. Power output stayed at 182, but the real change came in the engine's electronic systems. The new distributorless ignition and GEMS management system was an improvement over the older units.

 This beautifully restored example of the 1926 "R" 2 Door Coach was built by Durant Motors.
Durant built thousands of these Stars to compete with the Ford Model T between 1922 and 1928.
This is a six cylinder version of the car rather than the slower four cylinder version. They were know for their reliablity, quick accelertion and smooth ride.
The previous owner put the car through a six year body off full restoration. This Hawk GT was purchased new by John Dawydiak, who happens to be a relative of Cars Dawydiak, new in 1962 in Flushing, New York. It is one of 8.388 built in 1962 and is in largely original condition. The original owners manual and keys are present as well as registration cards dating to the 70's and boxes of spare bits in the trunk. Mr. Dawydiak ordered it with a column shifted 3-speed manual transmission, power steering and the 2-barrel 289 ci V8. A plaque on the dash confirms that it was built 'expressly for' him. It has been brought out of hibernation and back to running condition by our world famous service department. The brakes will need some attention and there are areas of spot paint touch-ups around the body as well as some older repairs to the passenger door and quarter panel. Luckily, it was garage kept its whole life and escaped the rust that plagues so many classic cars from the east coast. It fires up on the first turn of the key and idles rock solid. The clutch chatters a bit on take off but there is a spare included. The front seats appear to have been reupholstered at some point but the headliner, carpets, door panels, dash, gauges and rear seats all appear original.
