Spyker designed full aluminum space frame roadster with soft top. High gloss polished headlight spoons with Xenon headlights, full aluminum body with a rear diffuser and high gloss polished air inlets. The engine is a 4.2 liter, Audi derived, aluminum, 4 cam, 40-valve V8 engine producing 400 HP with multi-point fuel injection system and computer controlled engine management system. The engine is mid-mounted. Gearbox is a six-speed transaxle with Drexler limited slip differential. The suspension is fully independent, fully adjustable double A-arm wishbone suspension with Koni F1 shock absorbers, Eibach springs and a front anti-roll bar. Top speed is 187 mph while the sprint from 0 to 62 mph will take less than 4.5 secs. The brake system is from AP Racing with fully floating front and rear ventilated and cross-drilled brake rotors (diameter frt. 356 mm and rear 330 mm). The front brake calipers have 6 pistons and 4 pistons on the rear. It is an ABS equipped system. Keyless entry, electrically operated single hinge tilting doors, sport seats fully trimmed in quilted leather, tinted glass, air conditioning, unique exposed gear changing lever, starter button, frameless windows. Integral steel seat-belt support structure, central door locks with remote, anti-theft alarm system with immobilizer. The wheels are the uniquely designed 19” Aeroblade style rims. The contemporary Spykers show the aviation and racing heritage from Spyker’s past. The design philosophy is heavily influenced by airplanes and aerodynamics and the engineering is heavily based on their current racing effort.
