Only 284 Qvale Mangustas were sold from 2000-02. Equipped with a 320-hp, 4.6L 4-Cam V8, 5-Speed manual gearbox, Brembo brakes and double wishbone independent suspension front and rear. The body is constructed of RTM plastic panels, the same as used on the Alfa Romeo SZ and Lotus Elan M100. It can be configured as a coupe, targa or convertible. Designed by Marcello Gandini, who also penned the Lamborghini Countach LP400 among other famous sports cars. This same chassis was later used by MG for the X-Power SV.
