1992 Morgan Plus 8

This 1992 Morgan Plus 8 has the rare distinction of being car #1 imported into the US, as well as being an extremely low-mileage car. This Morgan Plus 8 was used as the feature car for Road & Track magazine. It was also the EPA test vehicle, which was used to certified the model for sale in the US.

The Morgan Plus 8 is very faithful to the original. The ash frame was used all the way until the end of production in 2004, as were the sliding pillar front and live axle rear suspension. Modern gauges and fuel injection are about the only modern updates compared to earlier examples.

A soft top and side curtains are included for use in inclement weather, while our car was used mostly on weekends at a vacation retreat in wine country. To receive any maintenance, it would be driven back to the San Francisco, where it was looked after by English sports car specialists, John's Jaguar. We have performed a safety inspection, which is available as well.
