1989 Porsche 911 Carrera

This 1989 Porsche 911 Cabriolet is truly an excellent condition air cooled modern classic.  It comes with the highly desirable G50 transmission that was only available from 1987 to 1989 and provides a greatly improved driver experience.  It been was originally sold in San Diego and has never been registered outside of California.  The current owner purchased it in September of 2011 and was the 3rd owner.  Other than an aftermarket JVC audio head unit, this Porsche is completely unmodified.  The results of a 90-point safety mechanical inspection performed by Cars Dawydiak show it has been meticulously maintained and is ready to be used as a weekend car or daily driver.  Having personally driven hundreds of 80's 911s I was honestly impressed by how tight this car feels from behind the wheel.  Cosmetically it is honestly one the best condition late 80's 911 I have ever seen in this mileage range.  The Platinum exterior is near flawless with only a few almost invisible rock chips on the front bumper. The second owner protected the original seats with seat covers for over 15 years so it doesn't have the expected creasing on the driver and passenger seat side bolsters.  The covertible to and tonneau cover and in like new condition.

The current owner is a serious car enthusiast who's private collection includes a 1966 AC Cobra.  This Porsche 911 Cabriolet is in better condition than you think.  The pictures will not do it justice.
